SHIPPING & RETURNS Policies of the Lavender Farm

Shipping Policy

We use Australia post for most of our shipping but can organize couriers when necessary.

The options for shipping are:

Standard Delivery 3 to 7 days*
Express Post Up to 3 days*
Courier 3 to 7 days*

* Pottique Pty Limited trading as The Lavender Farm cannot accept liability for delivery times outside those stated above which are considered average statistics. The Lavender Farm is also not responsible for failure of delivery of an order by Australia post after dispatch. Any claim for loss must be processed through Australia Post. 

* Standard delivery times to Northern Territory and Western Australia is 4 to 8 working days. Standard delivery to regional areas of Northern Territory and Western Australia can take up to three weeks.

Return To Sender Issues: All parcels return to sender (The lavender farm) due to incorrect address supplied by the customer, acceptance refusal, or unclaimed from post office will incur a return fee. Customers who wish to have the parcel resent to  them will need to pay a re-postage fee.

Signature Required: All parcels are shipped with authority to leave unless the customer requests otherwise. For proof of delivery a Signature is wise where insurance has been arranged. As explained below the customer should request Insurance Cover at time of placing the order. A standard Australia post fee applies.

Insurance: Insurance can be arranged should the customer request it. A fee (currently $1.50 per hundred dollar value) applies for Australia Post. The lavender farm will happily arrange this should the customer require it.

IMPORTANT: As The Lavender Farm works from Wednesday to Sunday, delivery times are based upon the day of shipping being between Wednesday and Friday.

RETURNS and REFUNDS

Where a product has been opened, used and or tested, and the product is not faulty a refund cannot be given. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind purchases, however we happily exchange for incorrectly supplied products if a product is unopened, undamaged and in its original condition.

We will reship at customer expense using Australia Post standard service regardless of original Shipping method.

Buyers must provide the return shipping cost for exchange. All shipping costs are non-refundable.

Any products which are found to be faulty are eligible for a full refund of product only.( Postage refund not included). Any product for refund/exchange must be received within 14 days of original delivery. All products being returned must be securely packed to ensure the package is fully protected. The Lavender Farm will not be responsible for fragile products damaged due to packaging negligence unless the item/s being returned was originally damaged.

If you need to return goods to us, please follow these steps; 

  1. Contact Us to request a product return and/or refund. Do not send returns without The Lavender Farm approval.
  2. Pack and seal the item/s in their original shipping package and post it back to us.
  3. Provided that we receive the products in their original UNUSED and UNOPENED condition, we will arrange for the original purchase price (excluding the original delivery fee) to be refunded to the original credit card account. Please allow up to 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods for the refund to be processed.
